John Harris - Owner

Launched in June 2000 by illustrator John Harris, his artistic background enabled him to create a local magazine which has a user-friendly layout and eye-catching design which makes it easy to find what you are looking for quickly. John oversees the production and distribution of all the Arrow magazines.

The Arrow Advertiser has gone from strength to strength and now has five editions delivered door to door every month connecting you with the community. For 23 years it is the essential guide to local businesses in and around Shakespeare's County with the largest door to door distribution of any monthly publication.

About John
The idea for the Arrow Advertiser came to me while living next to the river Arrow in Alcester during 1999. Since visiting Alcester in the 1980's I have a passion for the town and surrounding area. Over the past 23 years I have done my very best to get the phone ringing for local businesses and support the local community. I live in Stratford with my family, enjoying cycling, walking, swimming and following my favourite football team West Bromwich Albion.

Kate Thornton - Sales and Marketing

Kate joined us in 2017 to manage new business sales, develop customer relationships, maintain our social media pages as well as helping with many other aspects of the business.

Outside of the office Kate leads a busy active lifestyle. Mum to 2 children, you'll find her conquering the challenges of parenthood and making memories with the kids. Also a fitness enthusiast, Kate is a regular in the gym and when she's not hitting the high energy classes she is adventuring outdoors going for local walks with her 4 legged companions or hiking in the mountains. Recently Kate completed her biggest adventure yet by conquering Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa!
